This rear brake kit includes:

3. DOT approved custom fabricated steel braided brake lines
4. Custom fabricated T6061 aluminum brackets.
6. Wilwood brake pads
7. All required hardware
This kit is a complete kit. There are no other parts needed to complete the installation. Installing is very easy, and can be done in less than two hours. This kit works with your stock internal rotor emergency brake system from BMW. The rotor will slide over the E-brake drum shoes and works just the same as stock. The lightweight Aluminum Wilwood 4 piston calipers have1.96 piston area. These calipers are available in many local auto parts stores, so replacing them is not a problem (part number Wilwood 120-14932). Large rotors dimensions are 294MM diameter x 19MM thick (11.57 inch diameter x .748 inch thick). The vented slotted and dimpled rotors are precisely built with CNC machines. The steel braided brake lines are custom made to fit this brake kit for easy installation. The aluminum caliper brackets are made of the highest grade of aircraft quality aluminum on the market T6061. These brackets are very light and extremely strong. They will never rust or corrode. You have the choice of getting performance street brake pads or race only pads. This brake upgrade is also extremely lightweight; it will help reduce the amount of unsprung weight. This is important since it will allow your suspension to react to road conditions much faster than with heavy cast iron calipers. Each caliper weights 3.3 pounds! Your car will handle better and be more predictable. Overall it is a great brake kit that will make you stop faster and better than you could ever imagine.
Note: Requires 15-inch wheels. Some 14-inch wheels will fit, but some 14s will require wheel spacers to clear the caliper.
During installation you will have to cut and bend back the backing plate to make room for the rotor. I recommend cutting the backing plate every 2 in and bending the pieces back.
In order to take full advantage of your front brake upgrade, we recommend deleting the OEM proportion valve to allow full pressure to rear brakes. Then if rear brake is too strong you can install an adjustable Wilwood prop valve and turn rear brake down until it perfect bias.
This kit works with your stock e-brake system. the rotor slide over the internal rotor drum shoes and is larger than the stock rotor. All stock e-brake parts are retained.
Our rear BMW line kit includes 4 steel braided lines that are custom made to replace all 4 rubber flex brake lines found on the BMW E30.
