1996 - 2002 Toyota 4runner front brake upgrade kit.
Front brake kit for 1996 - 2002 Toyota 4runner. The 3rd Gen 4runner is an amazing car, but the front brake are terrible! It is very easy to overheat the small rotors and cause them to warp. This will cause wobly shaky feeling when you press the brakes. this causes all your bushings and ball jiont to wear out much faster. This brake upgrade will fix this problem isnce it has much larger rotor that can take more heat without warping. Our most powerful front brake upgrade for the 4runner. This brake kit includes: 1. Enormous Aluminum 4 piston calipers 2. 12.5 inch machine balanced rotors 3. posi quiet Ceramic brake pads 4. All needed hardware and shims This is a complete kit. There are no other parts needed to complete the installation. Installing is very easy, and can be done in less than two hours. The 4 piston calipers are larger and more powerful than stock. These calipers are available in many local auto parts stores, so replacing them is not a problem. The vented rotors are professionally built with CNC machines. They can be bought at any local auto part store. ceramic brake pds are good for hard street use and offroad use. I personally have this brake kit on my 4runner and it made a big difference, my car now stops on the dime, and never overheats the rotors. Over all it’s a great brake kit that will make your 4runner stop faster and better than you could ever imagine!
Note: requires minimum 16 inch wheels. If you have 17 inch wheels we can send you larger calipers and larger pads with more surface area.

Took the brand new kit that showed up to the shop to get installed I gotta call forom mechanic saying that 1 of the threads on the caliber was completely smashed in and paint it over so it was unusual so obviously since it was there getting work done I couldn't have it put back together and go later and pay double so I had to just buy one from local. I thought it would be more convenient to buy the kit already put together so I didn't have to source the parts. I did call in the guy offered to send me another one after I sent back this 1 1st. But it's basically a no point at that point because the vehicle was sitting there waiting and even if it's at your house what do you do leave it on blocks until it comes in a week later. I feel like you should have shipped one out overnight or something.
