These custom spacers are made to let you use stock 300zx turbo CV axels in any 240z 260z 280z with an R200 differential. These spacers are made with USA 1018 cold rolled steel. They are super strong! Version 2 Now featuring even deeper cutout to make more room for axels.
How to install: The 300zx cv axle will plug into any R200 differential. Not r180 or R160. The R200 can be open, welded, or have LSD. If you are using an open r200 found in 280z then you will need to pull out the output shafts, then plug in 300zx axels into the differential. cv axels are directional right and left sides. If you place them in the incorrect side they will not seat all the way. Our custom spacer needs to be welded to your stock 240z or 280z companion flange. Then reinstall companion flange and bolt the 300zx axel to our spacer. The end.
Note:
Sold as a pair of 2 pieces.
Requirements: You need to have an R200 differential from 260z, 280z, 280zx, 300zx, 300zxt You will need to supply 8 bolts, nuts, and split lock washers to mount 300zx axel to our spacer.
The cv axels are longer than stock, so this kit does not work well with lowered cars (over 1 inch lower than stock), or drag cars that will have a lot of swat when you take off fast. This can cause the cv axels the bottom out. This can be fixed by getting adjustable lower control arms and make the track width of the car wider. This makes more room for the longer cv axels.
CV axels are 29 spline where they plug into R200.
