This is a CV axel conversion kit bolts onto your 240z 260z 280z. It bolts to the stock output shaft on the R180 or R200 differential, then bolts onto the stock companion flange off any 240z 260z 280z. This kit uses easy to find off shelf CV axels off a Porsche 944. There are many aftermarket companies that make these CV joints in various qualities, So finding replacements in the future is easy. The CV axle conversion is made to work on stock ride height cars or lowered cars that are lowered up to 3 inches lower than stock.
This kit comes with everything you need to complete installation except for red lock tight. you'll need to get that your self, Or pay us extra to assemble the CV axels for you before shipping them.
Picture shows the 944 axels that you need to disassemble, then use the custom center bar, then bolt on the puck adaptors with RED lock tight and then install CV axels onto the car.
how much horsepower will these take? Our center bar splined shaft is heat treated to 700M! It will never break. These axles could take 700 hp. They are not going to be the weakest link anymore. Now the next weakest link is the stock Stub Axle.
