Wilwood rear brake kit for Datsun 280zx with 4 piston calipers and emregency brake function.

This is a complete kit. There are no other parts needed to complete the installation . Installing is very easy, and can be done in less than two hours. The lightweight Aluminum 4 piston calipers weight only 3.4 pounds and have 24.4mm diameter pistons. These calipers are available in many local auto parts stores, so replacing them is not a problem (part number Wilwood 120-13517). The vented slotted and drilled rotors are professionally built with CNC machines, and zinc plated to prevent rusting. They can be bought at any local auto part store (2005 Nissan Sentra SE-R front Brembo rotor). The steel braided brake lines are custom made to fit this brake kit for easy installation. The Aluminum caliper brackets are made of the highest grade of aircraft quality aluminum on the market T6061. These brackets are very light and extremely strong. They will never rust or corrode. You have the choice of getting performance street brake pads or race only pads. I personally have this brake kit on my 280zx and it made a big difference, my car now stops on the dime. This brake upgrade is also extremely lightweight; it will help reduce the amount of unstrung weight. This is important since it will allow your suspension to react to road conditions much faster than with heavy cast iron calipers. Your car will handle better and be more predictable. Over all it’s a great brake kit that will make your 280zx stop faster and better than you could ever imagine!
Note: Requires 16 inch wheels. This kit does have E-brake capability. You will have to grind down your hub diameter to make rotors fit over hubs. If you don't the rotors will not seat to the hubs surface and caliper will not line up with rotor. Calipers come grey color. This kit does come with e-brake assembly. The E-brake funtion is only for parking and street use. It will not lock your rear wheels while driveing, it is not good for drifting. This E-brake is just for parking the car on hills and such.
If you wish to verify what year 280zx you have, measure the distance from wheel mounting surface to caliper mountng surface. 1982 to 1983 distance is 4.5 inch and the 1979 to 1981 is 3.75 inch.
