SILVER MINE MOTORS 240Z 260Z 280Z REAR WILWOOD 4 PISTON BRAKE UPGRADE KIT
This kit includes:
1. WILWOOD 4 piston calipers (aluminum calipers with integrated e-brake system)
2. C.N.C. Dimmpled, slotted and vented rotors with Zink plating to prevent rusting.
3. DOT approved custom fabricated steel braided brake lines.
4. Brake pads Wilwood BP10 material
5. All necessary hardware
6. Custom fabricated T6061 aluminum brackets
7. custom made emergency brake cables
This kit is conplete except for custom e-brake cables. There are no other parts needed to complete the easy installation. This is a big brake kit for any s30 Z car rear. The calipers are 4 piston Wilwood calipers, which are a big increase in piston size as opposed to the drum brakes that originally came on your car. Replacing the caliper is easy, you can get them at various parts stores. The 12 inch diameter Dimmpled, slotted and vented rotors are professionally built with CNC machines, and zinc plated to prevent rusting. These rotors have diamond slots. This eliminates dust build up at the end of the slot and helps dissipate gasses evenly throughout the rotor. The steel braided brake lines are custom made to fit this brake kit for easy installation. They are also government DOT approved just like the stock brake lines that come on new cars from the factory today. So you can believe they will not have any safety problems. They are also steel braided with a layer of clear lamination to prevent expansion of the line under pressure. The Wilwood BP10 material brake pads are made for aggressive street and some tracking driving. They are very quiet and smooth. This brake kit will make your 240z-280z stop much faster after it is installed.
NOTE: Requires minimum 17 INCH wheels. SOME 16 INCH WHEELS WILL NOT FIT! 16 inch panasport wheels will not fit due to e-brake arm rubbing on inside of wheel. Watanabes 17x11 will not fit for the same reason. Distance from the center of the top bracket mounting hole to the top of the caliper emergency brake arm is 127 mm. You can measure your wheels based on this information to see if they will fit. kit does come with e-brake assembly. The E-brake funtion is only for parking and street use. It will not lock your rear wheels while driveing, it is not good for drifting. This E-brake is just for parking the car on hills and such.
